In the early morning hours of a Friday in Washington, D.C., a man's life was cut short by violence. On September 14, 2007, Larry Dean was fatally shot in the 2200 block of Savannah Terrace, SE. The incident occurred at approximately 1:55 a.m., shattering the quiet of the late summer night. Emergency services responded to the scene, but Mr. Dean succumbed to his injuries.
