In the early morning hours of January 29, 2012, a tragic event unfolded in a house on Avenue S in the Ensley neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Jonathan Sean Sanchez and four other men. The incident, which started as a robbery, quickly escalated into a mass shooting, cutting short the lives of the young men inside the residence.
