On June 26, 2014, in Anniston, Alabama, 55-year-old Marlin Jones was fatally shot. The incident occurred in the early morning hours at a residence on Chatwood Drive in the Saks community. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Jones with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
