In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a dispute that began earlier in the evening tragically escalated, ending the life of 21-year-old Jamarcus Marquez Roberts. On July 20, 2014, Roberts, a male resident of Tuscaloosa, was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Motel 6 on McFarland Boulevard.
