On December 8, 2019, at approximately 10 p.m., 21-year-old Darius "D–Lo" Garner was fatally shot during an apparent armed robbery at The Legacy at Country Club Apartments on Mimosa Park Road in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
