On August 5, 2019, 24-year-old Anthony Killings was fatally struck by a stray bullet while sleeping in his apartment at Parker 301 Apartments on Helen Keller Boulevard in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The bullet penetrated the exterior wall of his residence, hitting him in the head as he lay in bed. This tragic incident occurred during a shootout resulting from a robbery at the apartment complex.
