On a fall evening in Montgomery, Alabama, 21-year-old Brandon Harris was at his apartment at the Liberty Square Apartments on October 27, 2014. Around 9:30 p.m., he stepped outside to meet with someone who had arrived in the parking lot in a small, white, four-door car with tinted windows. Not long after, Harris was discovered in a breezeway of the apartment complex, bleeding profusely.
He died from his injuries, and his death was classified as a homicide.
In the years that have followed, the case of Brandon Harris's death has grown cold, with no arrests made and no suspects publicly identified. The circumstances surrounding his murder remain a mystery to both his family and law enforcement. Initially, a reward of $1,000 was offered for any information that would lead to an arrest and conviction. As time went on with no resolution, the reward was significantly increased. Authorities expressed hope that the substantial increase in the reward might encourage someone with knowledge of the events of that night to finally come forward.
