On December 29, 2014, Huntsville Police responded to a residence on the 3100 block of Hale Drive, where they discovered the bodies of 65-year-old Janet Sulcer and her husband, 75-year-old Edward Sulcer. Investigations revealed that Edward Sulcer fatally shot his wife before turning the gun on himself in an apparent murder-suicide.
