In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in Jackson, Michigan, tragedy struck, forever altering the course of a young life. Just after midnight on August 2, 2023, police responded to a call in the 900 block of Chittock Avenue. There, they discovered 19-year-old Tayveon Andrew in the passenger seat of a vehicle parked in a driveway. He had an apparent gunshot wound to his head and was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
