In the quiet early hours of May 17, 2025, the life of 44-year-old Anthony Glen Owens Jr. was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. A male, Owens was with three other men on a porch in the 100 block of Lincoln Court in Summit Township, just outside of Jackson, Michigan, when the peaceful scene was shattered. Shortly after midnight, at least three unidentified shooters opened fire on the small gathering before fleeing the scene.
