On June 19, 2023, 29-year-old U.S. Army veteran Keon Devont'e Aguilar was fatally shot inside his residence on Hollis Street in Summit Township, Jackson County, Michigan. Authorities responded to the incident around 12:54 p.m., discovering Aguilar deceased from a gunshot wound. Preliminary investigations suggested that the individuals involved were acquainted, and the shooting may have stemmed from a domestic dispute.
