Daivon Brown

Daivon Brown, 25, a Black man, was killed in Jackson, Michigan, in the final hours of December 31, 2018, after gunfire erupted on the city’s south side. In the early morning darkness, police were dispatched to the 300 block of Mitchell Street around 1:40 a.m. for a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they found him lying out in the street with apparent gunshot injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
