In the late summer of 2019, the life of Albert James Flowers, a 46-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short in Jackson, Michigan. On September 17th, he was found on the 200 block of Third Street, situated between Washington Avenue and Michigan Avenue, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds. The Jackson Police Department promptly launched a homicide investigation into his death, treating the case as a murder.
