In the winter of 2015, the life of 31-year-old Corey Dixon, a Black male from Prichard, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On the evening of January 13, Dixon was shot and killed in what would become a lingering mystery for the city's police department. The initial shooting was soon upgraded to a homicide investigation, marking another grim statistic in the annals of local crime.
