On January 21, 2015, 23-year-old Kirby Dante Brown was fatally shot in Selma, Alabama. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. as Brown was leaving his girlfriend's residence on the 700 block of Mwenye Street. He sustained three gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
