In the early morning hours of January 24, 2015, a grim discovery was made in the parking lot of Jody's Restaurant in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Twenty-five-year-old Gary Wayne Baskins, a white male, and 23-year-old Kayla Ann Glover were found shot to death. The call to emergency services came in around 2:20 a.m. Upon arrival, law enforcement found Baskins deceased in the passenger seat of a vehicle, while Glover's body was located outside the car in the parking lot.
