In the summer of 2008, a life was tragically cut short on a street in Southeast Washington, D.C. Maurice Pearson, a 29-year-old male, became the victim of a fatal shooting. The incident occurred on Thursday, June 26th, in the 800 block of Xenia Street SE. It was there that his body was discovered, marking a sudden and violent end to his young life.
