In the Southeast quadrant of Washington, D.C., a burst of gunfire shattered the night, leaving two men dead. Michael Pate, a 31-year-old man, was one of the victims in the double homicide that occurred on September 18, 2021. The shooting took place in the 2200 block of Savannah Terrace SE.
