On a Wednesday night in Washington, D.C., the life of 25-year-old Raymond Carter III was tragically cut short. On April 19, 2023, at approximately 11:04 p.m., police responded to the 800 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northwest, where they discovered Carter suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Carter was a resident of Southeast Washington.
