On a Wednesday night in Washington, D.C., the life of 25-year-old Raymond Carter III was tragically cut short. On April 19, 2023, at approximately 11:04 p.m., police responded to the 800 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northwest, where they discovered Carter suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
