On September 25, 2018, 24-year-old Anthony Daniel Lawson was fatally shot in Washington, DC. The incident occurred in the 6200 block of Eastern Avenue, Northeast, at approximately 2:27 am. Upon arrival, members of the Fourth District found Lawson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Lawson was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
