On a late winter evening in Washington, D.C., the life of 24-year-old Markiese Johnson was tragically cut short. On Monday, March 9, 2020, at approximately 8:48 p.m., the sound of gunfire echoed in the 2200 block of Savannah Terrace, Southeast.
