Emmanuel "E" Lys, aged 32, tragically lost his life on May 23, 2022, in Washington, D.C. He was found shot and killed inside a tent at a homeless encampment in Thomas Circle. The incident occurred just before 10 a.m., and a handgun was discovered on the sidewalk nearby. Emmanuel Lys, originally from Waltham, Massachusetts, had moved to Washington, D.C., and was known for his resilience and generosity.
