On November 14, 2015, Tramone L. Mitchell, a 22-year-old African American male, was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. He was discovered inside a green 2006 BMW near the intersection of Cotton Avenue Southwest and 13th Street. A passenger in the vehicle sustained a gunshot wound to the groin and was transported to UAB Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
