In the spring of 2017, the life of 23-year-old Jermaine Snow Lee, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. On the final day of March, his body was discovered inside a burning Nissan Altima that had been left in an alley in the Bush Hills neighborhood. The discovery pointed to a violent end, as it was determined that he had been fatally shot before the vehicle was set on fire.
Jermaine was not the only victim of this horrific event.
Alongside him in the car was 21-year-old Montel Glenn, who also lost his life in the same brutal manner. The two were known to be longtime friends, and their deaths left a deep void in the community. A celebration of Jermaine's life was held on April 8, 2017, at the New Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, followed by his burial at Zion Memorial Gardens in Birmingham.
Despite the years that have passed since this double homicide, the case remains unsolved. Law enforcement has not publicly identified any suspects, and no arrests have been made in connection with the deaths of Jermaine Snow Lee and Montel Glenn. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities continue to seek information from the public that could lead to a breakthrough and bring justice to the families of the two young men whose lives were so violently taken.
