William Ross, a 42-year-old man from Cullman, Alabama, was fatally shot on July 20, 2007, in Birmingham. The incident occurred in front of an abandoned house on the 3900 block of 36th Avenue North. Ross was taken to UAB Hospital, where he succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
