On June 7, 2022, at approximately 6:10 a.m., 25-year-old Domonique Deandre' Williams was fatally shot while seated in a vehicle on the 1700 block of Avenue J in the Ensley neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office reported that Williams sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. A second individual in the vehicle was also injured but survived the attack.
