On November 14, 2015, 22-year-old Devin Kennedy was reported missing from Pensacola, Florida. The following day, his body was discovered in an abandoned vehicle in Lillian, Alabama, a community along Alabama's coast. Kennedy had been fatally shot, leaving behind a young daughter.
The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office initiated an investigation, identifying multiple suspects. However, due to insufficient evidence, no arrests were made at that time, and the case eventually went cold.
