On what should have been a joyous occasion, the 65th birthday of Roland Gerry Poirier, a celebration turned into a tragedy that would tear a family apart. It was November 8, 2006, in Lewiston, Maine, and Poirier was gathered with his family and friends at his Grove Street home for a birthday dinner.
