On the evening of October 25, 2023, Jason Adam Walker, a 51-year-old White/Caucasian male from Sabattus, Maine, lost his life in a heroic act of self-sacrifice. He was at the Just-In-Time Recreation bowling alley in Lewiston with his wife and friends when a gunman opened fire on the patrons. Known as a protector of his family, Walker, along with his lifelong friend Michael Deslauriers, did not hesitate to confront the shooter in an attempt to shield their loved ones and others from harm.
