Kenneth Scott, a 29-year-old man from Birmingham, Alabama, was fatally shot on December 5, 2015, in what police later confirmed to be a homicide. Scott was discovered in the 1300 block of 14th Street Southwest, in a neighborhood of Birmingham known for higher crime rates. Emergency responders arrived at the scene after reports of gunfire and found Scott with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, he was declared dead shortly after paramedics arrived.
