On March 4, 2015, 30-year-old Willie "Munchie" Stevens was fatally shot at a residence on Columbia Street in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred when Stevens visited the home of his former girlfriend and allegedly assaulted her. Her current boyfriend, Shawntez Leonard, intervened, leading to a confrontation that ended with Stevens being shot.
