On June 7, 2022, 25-year-old Domonique Deandre Williams was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 5:48 p.m. in the 1600 block of Avenue J in the Ensley neighborhood. Williams was found unresponsive in the driver's seat of a silver vehicle riddled with bullets and was pronounced dead at the scene. A second individual in the vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and managed to escape to safety.
