On April 17, 2022, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 1200 block of Stonecrest Drive, near the Huffman area of Birmingham, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 42-year-old Arthur Armstrong lying unresponsive near a bedroom inside the home. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived shortly thereafter and pronounced him deceased at the scene.
