On November 7, 2021, at approximately 1:39 a.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at the GMV Club, located at 1710 Avenue D in Ensley. Upon arrival, they discovered three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds, all of whom were transported to UAB Hospital. A fourth victim, also wounded at the club, had been taken to the hospital from a different location.
