In the early morning hours of November 7, 2021, a dispute inside the GMV Club in Birmingham's Ensley neighborhood tragically escalated, leaving 35-year-old Jeremy Managan, a Black male, fatally wounded. Birmingham Police Department officers were dispatched to the club at 1710 Avenue D around 1:39 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a chaotic scene with three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
