Authorities have released the name of a man shot to death Friday in west Birmingham.
Birmingham police on Saturday identified the victim as Myron Pratt. He was 47.
West Precinct officers were dispatched about 5:25 p.m. to to a house in the 1800 block of Bessemer Road on a report of a man shot. When they arrived, they found Pratt lying on the floor with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds, said Sgt. Bryan Shelton.
