On October 7, 2020, Rodriguez Deonte Jones, age 25, was found dead in a burning vehicle in Birmingham, Alabama. Birmingham Police and Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a vehicle on fire in the 1300 block of McMillon Avenue Southwest around 12:48 a.m. Once the flames were extinguished, first responders discovered Jones's body in the passenger seat, which was severely burned.
