Ladarius Bloxom, a 30-year-old resident of Birmingham, Alabama, was fatally shot on Sunday, February 7, 2021. The incident occurred outside the Valley Brook Apartments in the 2900 block of Gallant Drive in east Birmingham.

According to the preliminary investigation, Bloxom was involved in a verbal argument with an individual prior to the shooting. This altercation is believed to be a significant factor in the events leading up to his death.
