Death by Force

On December 26, 2022, at approximately 7:30 p.m., 18-year-old Kamarian Ja'Ky Morris of Hueytown, Alabama, was fatally shot while traveling in a vehicle along the 1400 block of Carson Road in Birmingham. A juvenile male passenger in the vehicle also sustained gunshot injuries but survived. The victims were transported to UAB Hospital via private vehicle, where Morris was pronounced dead upon arrival.
