On April 5, 2017, 35-year-old Randall Dewon Brown was fatally shot on the 300 block of 15th Court North in Birmingham's Norwood neighborhood. At the time of his death, Brown was awaiting trial for assault and had outstanding warrants for robbery and burglary charges. Witnesses reported seeing two suspects fleeing the scene in a dark-colored vehicle.
