On March 16, 2022, 25-year-old Darrius Deveal Frazier was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 8:00 p.m., East Precinct officers were dispatched to St. Vincent’s East hospital following a report of a person shot. Frazier had been transported to the hospital via private vehicle after sustaining gunshot wounds in the parking lot of an apartment complex located at 1045 Huffman Road. He was later transferred to UAB Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
