On August 10, 2020, 30-year-old Condorius Sanchez Williams was fatally shot while driving on Interstate 65 northbound in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 12:50 a.m., officers responded to reports of a traffic accident under the 16th Street North bridge. Upon arrival, they discovered Williams unresponsive in the driver's seat of his vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
