On February 4, 2016, 19-year-old Jalen Johnson was fatally shot in Opelika, Alabama. The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. in the 600 block of Edmon Avenue, where police found Jalen lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at 3:02 p.m. by Coroner Bill Harris.
