Sedric Darrell Lewis, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically killed in a shooting on March 25, 2017, in Opelika, Alabama. The incident occurred on Toomer Court, where Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim, 31-year-old Derris Terrel Harris, was also shot and later succumbed to his injuries at East Alabama Medical Center.
