Mohammad Hussain Metla Jr., an infant, went missing from Brooklyn, New York, on November 5, 2004, at just under one year old. His disappearance is classified as a parental abduction, as he was taken by his mother, Flora Mahmood, without the consent of his father, who had primary custody. On November 6, 2004, Mahmood allegedly flew with her son from JFK Airport to Dubai.
