On March 28, 2016, 16-year-old Kourtney Richardson was fatally shot in Montgomery, Alabama. The incident occurred on Gibbs Drive, where Richardson sustained gunshot wounds that led to his death. The Montgomery Police Department promptly initiated an investigation into the homicide.
