On a summer evening in Montgomery, Alabama, the life of 25-year-old Lamarcus McCall, an African American male, was cut short by gunfire. The fatal shooting occurred on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in the Carriage Hills neighborhood. At approximately 8:03 p.m., Montgomery police and fire medics were dispatched to the 2500 block of Bridle Path Lane after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered McCall with a fatal gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
