Roderick L. Nelms, a 32-year-old man from Auburn, Alabama, tragically lost his life on April 23, 2016. His death was the result of a violent homicide that drew attention to issues of violence in the community. Nelms, a father of two, was found shot and left for dead in a wooded area just outside the city.
