On October 22, 2017, 28-year-old Elijah "Punkin" Pierson was fatally shot in Auburn, Alabama. The incident occurred in the early morning hours at a residence on Spencer Avenue. Auburn Police responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Pierson with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
