On April 23, 2016, a shooting occurred at Mr. D's Lodge, a nightclub located on Lee Road 83 in Auburn, Alabama. The incident resulted in the deaths of three individuals: 25-year-old Jadarrion L. Spinks and 43-year-old Recco R. Cobb, both from Auburn, and 32-year-old Roderick L. Nelms from Waverly. A fourth victim, a 23-year-old male, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to East Alabama Medical Center for treatment.
