Tina Carter, a 38-year-old woman from Houston, Texas, tragically lost her life on February 1, 2016. She was fatally shot along with Nicholas Copeland, 27, at a home on Rosemont Street near Scott Street in southeast Houston. The suspected gunman, Patrick Denton, 48, was later charged with capital murder in connection with their deaths. Witnesses reported seeing Denton enter the home before fleeing the scene.
